Following the success of our recent series of group
shows, and
glowing press,
Rogue Space Chelsea, located in the heart of the West
Chelsea Art District, will be holding the fourth in a
series of International group shows focussing
specifically on sculpture, June 25 - 30.
20 artists will be selected by our juror Willard Boepple
for the group show at Rogue Space.
This will be the fourth in a series of four media
specific shows comprising of Photography (April 16-21),
Drawing and Printmaking (May 14th-19th), Painting (June
4th-9th) and Sculpture (June 25th-30th).
Five artists from each show will go forward to a “Best of
Show” Exhibition featuring 20 works, from which one
artist will be chosen to receive a weekend solo show at
Rogue Space | Chelsea and a documentary film produced by
our sister company
FilmsOnArtists.
ABOUT THE JUROR
Born in Bennington and
educated at UC Berkeley, RISD and CCNY, Willard Boepple
has shown regularly in New York since the early seventies
where he is represented by Lori Bookstein Fine Art. He is
represented in the UK by Broadbent Gallery, London. He
has taught at Bennington College and the Boston Museum
School and traveled extensively in Africa as a U.S. State
Dept Visiting Cultural Specialist. He is Chairman of the
Triangle Artists’ Workshop and serves on the board of the
Vermont Studio Center. His work is in the
collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Boston Museum
of Fine Arts, the Storm King Art Center and The
Fitz-William Museum, Goodwood and Yorkshire
Sculpture Parks in England among many collections both
public and private. He lives and works in North
Bennington and New York.
ELIGIBILITY:
All work entered must have been completed within the last
two years. Images measuring up to 36 X 36 inches
footprint or wallprint.

ENTRY
PROCEDURE
Work
must conform to maximum size: 36x36 inches
INCLUDING FRAMEWORK.
Accepted
work may be refused if it does not conform to the image
entry, at the Juror's discretion. No substitutions
of accepted works.
Submissions
must made online and in JPEG format ONLY with 1MB maximum
file size.
Please label your JPEG image as follows:
Last Name, First Name, Title, and Number which
corresponds with that image on the Entry Form.

All accepted work will remain in the gallery for the
duration of the exhibit. All work will be hung by the
curator at her discretion as per the schedule
below.
COST
There is a $40 non-refundable
entry
fee for the first piece entered. $10 for each
additional work – a maximum of 5 may be submitted. Please
submit a separate JPEG for each work.
NB:
Please note the charge to your credit card will appear as
Rogue Productions and Gallery.
DELIVERY
All
work must de delivered ready to hang or be
mounted.
Hand-Delivered
work will be accepted at
the gallery ONLY June
22,
11AM-6PM. Early
morning or evening drop-offs by arrangement.
Packaging must be removed
from the gallery at the time of delivery.
Shipped work must arrive at the gallery
June
22, in a reusable
container. A
prepaid waybill for its return must be enclosed.
Please make
pre-paid shipping arrangements through UPS, FedEx or
other shipper who will pick up work at the
gallery. NO U.S.
POSTAL SERVICE OR COD RETURNS.
RETURNS
Hand-Delivered
work must be picked
up July 1,
11-6PM. Early morning or evening pickups by
arrangement. Packing
materials will not be supplied and must be brought upon
pick-up.
Shipped work must be schedule for
pick-up July 2,
11-6PM.
The gallery accepts
no responsibility for work not retrieved on pick-up date
and will charge the artist $5.00 a day thereafter for
storage. After 30 days, the gallery may dispose of the
work.
LIABILITY
Great
care will be taken with all work, but artists are
responsible for insuring their own pieces if they wish.
Rogue Space will not be responsible for any loss or
damage to work while on the premises or in transit to or
from the gallery.

The documentary film will made by FilmsOnArtists at the artist’s home if they are located in the New York area. If the winning artist is from out of town, they would be asked to come to our studios in New York.
The
submission of a work of art to this exhibition shall be
understood to constitute an agreement on the part of the
artist to the conditions set forth in this
prospectus.
